February 22, Ras Al Khaimah [UAE] (ANI/WAM): Salem Sultan Hamad Al Owais Al Shamsi has been appointed Director General of the Department of Finance in Ras Al Khaimah by Emiri Decree No. 4 of 2025, which was issued by Supreme Council Member and Ras Al Khaimah Ruler Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi. The decree will be published in the official gazette and will take effect on the day of issue.
Salem Al Owais has a wealth of experience overseeing financial and digital initiatives. He has successfully led many joint ventures, financial performance enhancements, risk management plans, and financial sustainability projects while holding top leadership roles in a number of government agencies and businesses.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Dubai and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business in the United States.
Salem Al Owais has also obtained specialized qualifications in digital strategies, business model design, and financial analysis from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and other prominent international organizations. This illustrates his dedication to ongoing innovation and advancement in his industry.
