Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri rose to a lot of prominence with her movie Rockstar, where she co-starred with Ranbir Kapoor. Her act of Heer was well liked by the audiences. She received accolades afterwards for her role in Madras Cafe and Main Tera Hero. Even though she has stayed out of the silver screen for quite some time now, recently, she came back into news when pictures from her secret marriage became viral over the internet. Reports have it that Nargis Fakhri secretly married last week.

One of the users on Reddit shared images of her clandestine wedding recently, which were initially posted on Instagram by her immediate family members. In one of the pictures, there was a huge white wedding cake with white flowers on it and the initials of both the bride and groom written on top. In another photograph, the lovely decorated entrance of Nargis and Tony’s wedding was visible, where a signboard carrying their names, “Nargis & Tony,” was prominently seen.

The couple got married at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, according to reports. The groom, Tony Baig, is reportedly based in Los Angeles. After the wedding, Nargis posted about her holiday in Switzerland, which seemed to suggest a honeymoon. An Instagram photo screenshot had Nargis in a white swimsuit within a pool, while another photo taken from the same spot had Tony, which made it clear that the couple had indeed gotten married.

When the news traveled on the internet, people on social media reacted with shock. One user surmised that Nargis could be pregnant and wondered if that would be the cause of such a hasty and secret wedding. Another user indicated that Nargis and Tony were on vacation in Switzerland, labeling it as their honeymoon.

Earlier this year, Nargis had spent New Year’s Eve in Dubai with Tony Baig. Interestingly enough, her former beau Uday Chopra had also attended the party, and their pictures together had left the fans stunned. Tony himself had posted pictures of the celebration, one of them being where he was spotted getting close to Nargis in the company of their friends.

On the professional front, Nargis Fakhri will be seen in Housefull 5 with Akshay Kumar next. The movie also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is releasing on June 6, 2025.
