Narmada Expressway: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is working on the state’s longest road and biggest expressway, which Madhya Pradesh will soon have. The 1,200-kilometer circuit will pass through 11 state MP districts. Compared to the Yamuna Expressway, the Narmada Expressway is four times bigger. Development would undoubtedly be aided by the Narmada Expressway, which will link over 30 state highways, district roads, and national highways.

Narmada Expressway Access
Beginning at Amarkantak, the Narmada Expressway is being constructed between the districts of Alirajpur and Anuppur. Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Hoshangabad, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, and Alirajpur would all be served by the expressway.

Although they will soon be rebuilt, the state roads that link to this expressway are presently two-lane. This two-lane will thereafter be converted to a four-lane. Residents of the cities along the route will profit from the buildup. It is projected that the project will be completed by 2026. Gujarat and Chhattisgarh will be connected by the Narmada Expressway. It would link Alirajpur to Ahmedabad and the Anuppur district to Chhattisgarh.

The Narmada Expressway Will Promote Travel
The state’s tourist economy would benefit from the Narmada Expressway. This would also help Chhattisgarh and Gujarat. Tourists traveling to locations like Omkareshwar, Amarkantak, and Bhedaghat-Lametaghat will find it easier to get about thanks to the highway.
