CUET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 soon. The NTA has introduced a new website for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 at cuet.nta.nic.in. The website will be the main platform for uploading information bulletins, application forms, admit cards, results, and all other information about the CUET UG 2025 examination.

As CUET 2024 registration commenced in the last week of February last year, applicants can expect the CUET 2025 registration link to become operational in the first week of March this year. However, the exact date and time by the NTA is yet to be announced.

CUET UG 2025 Exam Pattern

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has made some major changes to the CUET UG 2025 examination pattern:

- Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode: The exam will be held online.

- Flexible Subject Selection: Students can opt for subjects without considering their Class 12th subjects.

- Reduction in Subjects: The number of CUET subjects has been lowered from 63 to 37.

- General Test for removed Subjects: Admissions for removed subjects will now be made on the basis of General Test (GAT) scores.

- Reduced Language Options: The language options have been cut down from 33 to 13, with all the foreign languages eliminated.

- Subject Limit: Up to five subjects may be chosen by the candidates.

- Pattern of Questions: There will be 50 questions in each subject and all of them must be attempted.

- Exam Time: There will be a 60-minute time limit for each subject.

CUET UG 2025 Registration: Application Fees

The CUET UG 2025 registration fee will be updated following the official announcement. Based on last year's registration fees, candidates can refer to the table below for an estimate of the CUET form fee:

- UR General: Rs 1000 for up to three subjects, Rs 400 for each additional subject

- OBC-NCL/EWS: Rs 900 for up to three subjects, Rs 375 for each additional subject

- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: Rs 800 for up to three subjects, Rs 350 for each additional subject

- Centres outside India: Rs 4500 for up to three subjects, Rs 1800 for each additional subject.
