Marks & Spencer has just launched a dreamy new three-piece suit in one of spring’s biggest colour trends - butter yellow. I first spotted this tailored look when scrolling on TikTok and couldn’t believe it was .
In my opinion, this set looks just as good as a designer suit, if not better, but for a fraction of the price.
I headed to my local store to see if I could pick one up, and luckily, all three items were still in stock in virtually all sizes. There are still sizes available online, but they are selling fast. The is available for £69, the for £45, and the for £39.50.

Pros
Both the blazer and waistcoat come in at the waist, giving a great silhouette rather than a boxy look
Trousers are available to purchase in short, regular or long lengths
The colour is right on trend and universally flattering
Lack of lapels on blazer makes for a more interesting and elevated look
The blazer has an internal pocket that shows slightly through lumpy
The blazer runs small
The trousers are a little bit see-through if not wearing light underwear
When I first put the suit on, I was really impressed with the quality and feel of the fabric. Considering all three pieces are under £70 individually, the material felt very high quality. The waistcoat has actually been crafted from a wool-look fabric, .
One of the hardest things about wearing suits is finding appropriate footwear. So, I took a couple of different styles of shoes into the changing room with me to see how the trousers would fit.
Out of the pairs I tried, I found my cream ballet flats from River Island looked the best and the most professional. I would definitely wear the suit with this pair if I was heading into the office or to a meeting.
To make the suit more casual, I also tested it out with my blue Adidas gazelles. I love blue and yellow as a colour combination at the moment, so I really enjoyed the way this pair toned the suit down and added a fun pop of colour. I would definitely recommend a sleeker, flat pair of trainers, such as an Adidas Gazelle or Samba, over a chunkier, dad-style shoe that looks far too sporty for the polished style of the suit.
My only criticism is that while the size 10 trousers and waistcoat were perfect for me, the size 10 blazer was fairly snug. A few reviews on the website also agree that the blazer runs small, which is something to bear in mind if you purchase it.
Overall, I’m a huge fan of this three-piece set. However, if I were to pick just one to purchase, . This is the standout item that makes the suit look so expensive, and it could be easily paired with other items in my wardrobe, from straight-leg jeans to a tailored mini skirt.
Alternatively, Abercrombie & Fitch has a similar , available for £90. And Reserved has a more , available to shop for £32.99.
