has urged Brits to take advantage of a discount before an imminent price hike, which could save up to £25.

The money-saving expert warned viewers that, on March 1, prices will increase from £30 to £35 for a one-year card and from £70 to £80 for a three-year card.

He encouraged viewers to use the code Railcard25 on MyTrainPal.com, which gets 25% off for new customers, and 10% off for existing customers.

The discount code saves travellers up to £25, bringing the current price for new customers to £22 for a one-year railcard or £52 for a three-year one.

The code works on the 16-25 Railcard, 26-30 Railcard, Family & Friends' Railcard, Network Railcard, Senior Railcard and Two Together Railcard, according to the money-saving expert.

The offer excludes the Disabled Person's Railcard and Veterans' Railcard, and it is limited to one railcard per account.

If buying the Railcard through an app, they will need to be activated before March 2, however if it is bought via the it will be automatically activated after purchase.

The Railcard can save you up to a third on in the UK, and the Friends' and Family card can save up to 60% off tickets for children.
