German car company Skoda has discontinued its SUV Kodiaq in India. The reason for this is that the company is going to launch its next generation model this year. The company also showcased a different trim of this SUV at the Auto Expo this year.

Skoda India has de-listed Kodiaq from its official site. The reason for this is that the company can launch its next generation model by May 2025.

Now only 3 Skoda cars are left

After de-listing the Kodiaq, only 3 Skoda cars will be available for sale in the Indian market. These include its new compact SUV Kaylaq and Kushak. It is also selling the sedan car Slavia.

Kodiaq was a flagship model of Skoda in India. Its price was around Rs 40.99 lakh. This car had a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine, which generated 187bhp of max power and 320 Nm of peak torque.

What will the new Skoda Kodiaq 2025 be like?

The new Skoda Kodiaq will come to India as the company's flagship model. According to the information that has come out about it so far, it will have many updates at the design level. This time the headlamps will be a bit sleeker than before. Its bumpers have also been designed in a new way. You will also get new 20-inch alloy wheels in it. You will get C-shaped tail lights in the car.

In the new car, you will also get ADAS, a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats.

Skoda is working on expanding its portfolio in India. Therefore, the company has planned to launch vehicles in different price ranges. The recently introduced Skoda Corolla is a part of this strategy.
