Said Maan, who has also
written a foreword in the book. “
Through their struggles, these warriors have discovered the incredible power of hope, the boundless strength that can come from faith, and the beauty of life when one chooses to fight. I strongly feel that in challenging situations like these, worrying about the illness would have only made it harder. The determination to hold on is what helped each one beat cancer. I have even said in one of my songs – Chinta chikha samaan hundi, shubhchintak kehnde, tu rajj ke mehnat maar, bure din roj ni rehnde, chinta na kar yaar, bure din roj ni rehnde. These individuals have done just that. They have truly released their fears and embraced the strength that resides within.”
