WWE superstars often make a statement with their unique wrestling gear. From flashy colors to bold designs, their attire plays a huge role in shaping their character. However, not every outfit is welcomed by the WWE management. Over the years, several attires have been banned for different reasons, some due to Vince McMahon’s personal dislike and others for not fitting the company’s image. Here are five wrestling outfits that WWE surprisingly banned.

#5 Daniel Bryan’s multicolor attire

Daniel Bryan was one of the faces of the wrestling company after 2010. Being in the limelight, Bryan loved to wear multicolor attires. He loved to wear a Khaki jacket with different tuning colors involving his trunks, large socks, and shoes. In one of the WWE Championship match against CM Punk, Vince McMahon was furious with the choice of the multicolor attire of Daniel Bryan. The wrestler was then banned from wearing such colors and went with only red.

#4 The Shield's Masks

Shield made their solid debut in 2014 with the black ninja masks. It was an instant hit from the WWE merchandise team. Fans loved it and the popularity of such masks hit highs. However, Vince McMahon hated it and ordered the group to cancel it. Shields were unhappy and the WWE merchandise team was mortified with the decision. The response was just too good from the fanbase for such a tasteless decision.

#3 Batista and Triple H's white attire

Batista initially wore white trunks but the WWE boss even hated this. In a funny inside story, Vince McMahon ordered Batista to change his white trunk attire suggesting it looked like diapers. Triple H who had his own custom of wearing large white shoes for big matches had to chuck it off as well as Vince McMahon had issues with the color.

#2 Seth Rollins’ popular white

Seth Rollins rocked the color white and fans just loved it. In 2015, the former Shield member dawned a cool white attire. He created history as well on the ring by becoming a WWE Champion as well as a United States champion at the same time. Fans loved Seth lifting the two belts with that attire. However, Vince McMahon again got in the way and Seth never went back to wearing it again.

#1 Kane - Big Red Machine

During his initial days in WWE, the management did a lot of experiments with his attire. He settled with a Red Black attire that almost covered his whole body. Kane also wore a half-face mask. The wardrobe wasn't appreciated by the fans as some even touted him as a comic book character. The attire didn't gel well with the heel character of Kane. And it was soon banned for not only Kane but any other wrestler.
