There are 12 zodiac signs - Aries, , , , , , , , , , , and - and the horoscopes for each can give you the lowdown on what your future holds, be it in work, your love life, your friends and family or more.

These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant, who has been reading star signs for over 50 years. From through to Pisces, here's what today could bring for your - and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20)

A trivial misunderstanding has been magnified resulting in some anger and resentment. You might wish you hadn’t said anything about someone having made a mistake. Involving a supervisor or manager will only complicate the situation and cause further tension in the workplace. Consider letting the matter go.

Taurus (Apr 21 - May 21)

Powerful emotions will inspire you to accept a challenge. Whether this relates to work or a volunteer effort, you are well aware of the risk involved. Someone close will display unexpected jealousy. Their behaviour will take you by surprise and you will need to think this over more carefully when you get the time.

Gemini (May 22 - June 21)

Even when you’re facing some inner turmoil, try not to let this distract you from your priorities. It’s important to focus on what really matters. In some situations, particularly those of a professional nature, it may be necessary to put your feelings on hold.

Cancer (June 22 - July 23)

Your kind and generous spirit will be evident to others all day long. Even people who don’t know you very well seem to be seeking your time and attention. When you’re being asked to give someone a little time or support, you won’t mind helping out if you are able to.

Leo (July 24 - Aug 23)

The support and kindness you are showing to a shy colleague will pay off in the long-run. As they gain confidence through your expert guidance, your relationship will deepen. You both possess skills that work well together and this paves the way for a fantastic partnership.

Virgo (Aug 24 - Sept 23)

Extra kindness shown to a sensitive friend can mean the world to them especially when they don’t get to see this side of your nature very often. Also, showing an interest in a relative’s hobbies or creative activities can help mend a rift in the family.

Libra (Sept 24 - Oct 23)

If you have the chance to work extra hours, pause and think before responding. This could be something you don’t really want to do in which case don’t feel guilty about turning this offer down. Head home for a cosy evening and early night instead.

Scorpio (Oct 24 - Nov 22)

A team effort seems disorganised and chaotic. Someone who was supposed to be in charge is conspicuous by their absence. Don’t hesitate to take the lead and when you do, make sure everyone is on the same page and are listening to your ideas. People are taking notice and you should feel proud of yourself, too.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 - Dec 21)

Keeping communication channels open is important in all relationships. Being honest from the start will help prevent issues in the future. Clear thinking will enable you to see how your ideas might evolve and this empowers you to pursue new long-term opportunities.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 20)

This is a good time to bring up those joint plans that created some misunderstandings and tension earlier. A partner will be open to hearing your thoughts and is likely to be more receptive than you expected about going along with your ideas and suggestions.

Aquarius (Jan 21 - Feb 19)

You’re feeling a strong urge to make some changes and you’ve already started planning your next big adventure. If you’ve tried a few times to convince a loved one to join you and they’re still hesitant, step back and give them some space. Your ideas are unusual. They need time to get used to them.

Pisces (Feb 20 - Mar 20)

An unexpected issue that arises early on could potentially throw all your plans into chaos. Yet while tackling this challenge, you might stumble upon a solution to a previous problem, making the situation not half as bad as it initially seemed.
