Netflix seems to be adding its own version of a popular show that was once described as a fiendish 'mix of and White Lotus'.
Fans who have been missing activities in the castle should now look forward to this brand new competition series, offering a whopping $1 million prize for the victors. Million Dollar Secret is hitting the streaming giant on March 26 and aims to fill the gap left by the series.
The show is billed as a battle of wits, cunning, and deception. Twelve strangers will find themselves in a lakeside mansion, each greeted by a mysterious welcome gift - a box. Eleven of these boxes are empty, but one holds $1,000,000 cash. It's finders keepers, provided they can keep their newfound wealth a secret.

Games will provide hints about the new millionaire's identity, so they must do whatever it takes to protect their Million Dollar Secret. A trailer released this week offers a glimpse at the 'devilish' games and The Traitor-esque ceremonies that will ramp up the drama. The streamer will drop its first trio of episodes on March 26, with another batch coming April 2, and building up to a gripping two-part finale on April 9.
Comedian and actor Peter Serafinowicz hosts the show, and each episode will see him "task the millionaire with a secret agenda" to gain an upper hand, while the other players engage in "daily guest activities" where they can win "strategic opportunities" to unmask the millionaire, reports .
ITV viewers might sense a déjà vu - it does ring bells similar to Stephen Mangan's Fortune Hotel, where guests grapple to clutch onto a case chock-full of dosh as it ricochets between them. A review from The Guardian of that show described it as 'a fiendishly addictive mix of The Traitors and White Lotus'.
Netflix's very own news hub, Tudum, reveals more details about their latest offering: "Over nightly dinners, they'll try to eliminate the correct person. Each time a millionaire is booted from the game, the money moves to someone new... Should the millionaire catch too much heat, they can ditch the cash to survive another day in the competition."
Million Dollar Secret is streaming on Netflix from March 26.
