Sajid Nadiadwala to launch son Subhan in Shashank Khaitan's next

Famous Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala is said to be gearing up to launch his son, Subhan Nadiadwala, in the Hindi film industry.

The news comes as Salman Khan's Sikandar, produced by Nadiadwala, is almost wrapping up.

The new project will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan, who is known for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

According to Mid-Day, Subhan has been polishing his acting skills for the last two years, training in action, voice modulation, and other aspects of filmmaking.

An insider disclosed to the portal that he has also been working behind the scenes at his father's production house to learn the ropes.

"Sajid wanted him to be well-versed in every aspect before facing the camera," the source added.

The year 2025 is special for Nadiadwala as it will mark the 75th anniversary of his production house, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

The source added, "Sajid feels it's the perfect time to launch the next generation."

With Sikandar's shoot almost complete, he will wrap up this project with Khaitan.

The film is expected to go on floors in June.

While the exact plot of the movie and its female lead are still under wraps, it is hinted that the film will be a romantic entertainer.

The source added, "Earlier, Shashank was to work on Dhadkan's reboot and Sajid on the new edition of Judwaa. But with those projects taking longer than expected, they have decided to focus on this film."

Most of the shooting will be held in Mumbai.
