While the sun has been making a slight apperance in the last couple of days, a forecast is predicting snow will return in March.

UK have revealed a due to impact areas across the nation towards the beginning of next month.

The maps by WX Charts,using metdesk data, indicate that parts of Scotland, north England and the south west as far down as the Cotswolds will see blankets of snow on March 8 from 6:00pm.

White patches can be seen across a large section of the and cities including Worchester and Gloucester. However, the shading suggests that the measurements of the snow will be below 1cm per hour.

Along with the snow, temperatures are meant to fall to freezing numbers by the early evening. The weather maps also reveal spells of rain coming from the west and landing across a larger scale of the nation, from as far south as Bournemouth.

The have predicated unsetttled conditions for the beginning of the upcoming month in their long range forecast.

The website states: "A split in weather conditions is likely across the UK at first during early March. Northwestern areas will see some rain and stronger winds at times, as Atlantic weather systems arrive from the west. These spells of wet and windy weather will drift southeast so some degree, at least at first."

These conditions are meant to continue right through to March 14 with it "becoming more widely dominant" across the country. There are no weather warnings in place to indicate that the conditions will be extremely severe or cause serious threat.

However, it is important to note that snow can cause an impact on day to day plans especially travelling.

Today:

Early frost and fog will lift during the morning to leave a largely dry day with plenty of sunshine. However, a little more cloud will bubble up during the afternoon, and the far northwest will be breezy with isolated showers.

Tonight:

England and Wales will have a dry night with clear periods and light winds. Frost and fog reforming. Meanwhile, a band of rain moving southeast across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Saturday:

Cloud and increasingly patchy rain continues moving southeast into Northern England. Frost and fog clearing to sunny spells further south. Skies brightening across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Isolated showers developing.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Southern areas will remain largely dry with sunny spells by day and frost and fog overnight. Further north there will be more cloud, with rain and strong winds at times.
