Bhopal : Under the Agrastack Project of the Government of India, the Farmer Registry has been launched as an important initiative for farmers in Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh). In this, a unique farmer ID is being created for every farmer. There are a total of 95 lakh 18 thousand 752 Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana in the state (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana). So far 56 lakh 85 thousand 337 total 59.73 percent farmers have registered themselves. So far, 56 lakh 82 thousand 234 IDs have also been generated.

A database of farmers is being prepared through Farmer Registry. This will allow farmers to get easy loan through computerized process. For other schemes, the information of land, crops and farmers can be verified through electronic process. There will be no need to present physical documents in it.

In Farmer Registry Innovation, more than 57 lakh Farmer IDs (Farmer ID) have been created in the state by organizing a camp with the cooperation of revenue and farmers by the district collectors. The state is getting Rs 297 crore under the Special Central Assistance Scheme of the Government of India. Madhya Pradesh has the first place in the country in doing Generate Farmer ID under the Farmer Registry. Gujarat ranks second, Maharashtra third, Andhra Pradesh fourth and Uttar Pradesh is fifth.
