The Ram Mandir Trust in Ayodhya has announced new darshan timings at the famous Ram Mandir post-Kumbh Mela . The new timing will be applicable from Monday, significantly reducing the hours available for visitors.
Before this, the temple had extended its darshan hours to 19 hours a day, which was from 6 AM to 11 PM. It was done to accommodate the massive numbers of devotees during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. However, with the end of the Kumbh Mela, the temple has reverted to its standard schedule, allowing time for rituals like aartis and bhog offerings.
Here are new timings:

Mangala Aarti
: As per Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of the Ram Mandir Trust, the new timings will see the temple doors opening at 4 AM for the Mangala Aarti. However, darshan will not be available immediately. The doors will close briefly from 4:15 AM to 6 AM.
Shringar Aarti: The Shringar Aarti will follow at 6 AM, and darshan will be allowed from 6:30 AM to 11:50 AM.
Bhog Aarti: The Rajbhog offering and Bhog Aarti will take place at 12 pm. A short darshan window will open between 12 PM and 12:30 PM. Afterward, the temple will remain closed until 1 pm. Following the reopening, devotees can have darshan from 1 PM to 6:50 PM before the doors close again until 7 PM for another offering.

Sandhya Aarti
: The evening will see the Sandhya Aarti, with darshan continuing until 9:45 pm. However, entry through Gate D-1 will close by 9:30 pm. After a brief closure from 9:45 pm to 10 pm for the final bhog of the day, the temple will reopen for the Shayan Aarti at 10 pm, followed by the temple’s closure at 10:15 PM for the night.

The change in timings reflects the trust’s focus on regular temple rituals without disruption. While the extended hours during the Maha Kumbh were meant to manage the increased pilgrim traffic, the new schedule aims to strike a balance between spiritual practices and crowd control.
As Ayodhya grows as a prime religious tourism destination, these revised timings ensure smoother operations and enhanced visitor experience at the Ram Mandir, one of the most visited temples in India.
