The Bihar Women's Udyog Sangh and the founder of revival footwear, women entrepreneurs, Sajiya Kaiser, trade shoes. Sajia says that business is a gender neutral region and that the Bihar government should open new avenues for women, this is giving women strength. Sajia says that initially she was not getting any guidance to understand business, trade, but by joining the Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh, she is able to give more force to her business. She further states that the government has given a big platform to thousands of women associated with the Udyog Sangh, which is getting recognition and respect from small to big work.
Sajia says that the Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh is working in the field of upliftment of women of the state in a way, through this, women are succeeding in giving markets to their skills. She says that the Nitish government has appreciated and encouraged the work and skills of women, due to which the women of the state are feeling free to emerge as a successful entrepreneur. Many women have also started successful start up by joining Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh.
Before joining the Women's Industries Association, the turnover of Sajia's trade was zero, along with networking was also a big issue, but her trade made a mark in the market with two fairs held in the year. Holi fair was organized in Patna on the previous day in which his business benefited from lakhs of rupees.
After joining Bihar Udyog Sangh, a big turnover is being seen in women's business. Through the Udyog Sangh, women entrepreneurs are joining businessmen and international markets besides customers. Mala Shilp, who has worked with Udyog Sangh, is successfully running Shri Private Limited.
She says that the Women's Industry Association has made her business dynamic. In 2002, Mala started trade in the field of craftsmanship, after which in 2005 it was associated with the Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh and met government-non-government and traders through the fair, after joining it, there was an increase in self-respect in them.
Mala says that initially her turnover was Rs 10 lakh, which has now increased to Rs 80-90 lakh. Along with this, she is strengthening by linking 300 other women inside her, she says that every woman associated with Bihar Mahila Sangh is working towards making thousands of women directly and indirectly self -reliant.
Mala had an exhibition of craftsmanship of Bihar at a fair held at Philippines. This is the hallmark of the successful story of making these women financially empower.
