Jamia Millia Islamia has started the admission process for 2025-26 with 14 new courses. The university has also reduced the fees charged to students from SAARC countries.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has started its admission process for the academic session 2025-26. The university has invited applications for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), diploma, and advanced diploma courses.

This year Jamia has taken an important step to get more applications from foreign students and NRI wards. Under this, the university has cut the fees for students from SAARC countries and has also given fee relief on diploma courses offered by the university polytechnic.

This year Jamia Millia Islamia has announced 14 new courses, which will open the way for new opportunities for the students. These new courses include B.Ed. Design, M.F.A. (Arts Management), B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science and certificate courses like Arts and Aesthetics, Creative Photography etc.

The university has started the admission process for a total of 25 programs, including 9 undergraduate, 5 postgraduate, 8 diploma, and 3 advanced diploma programs. Admission to all these programs will be through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) merit score. The special thing is that two seats have been reserved for foreign students in the BDS course, who can get admission through NEET.

Candidates have to apply online on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia (admission.jmi.ac.in). Different eligibility criteria have been set for each course.

For graduate courses, candidates must have passed the intermediate examination with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized board while for postgraduate courses, a bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized university is required.

Jamia Millia Islamia has taken a special initiative for admission in the academic session 2025-26. In which fee concessions have been given to attract foreign students. Along with this, the university has promised to provide new opportunities for students through its academic quality and diverse courses.
