Delhi: On Friday, March 7, it was announced that Rajiv Shukla, Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has been nominated as Executive Board Members in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). At the same time, Ashish Shelar has also been included as a board member in the ACC.

The statement issued by the BCCI said that Rajiv Shukla's experience and leadership will further strengthen India's role in Asian cricket. Also, the presence of Ashish Shelar will make India's contribution more effective in the development of cricket.

This appointment has been made a few months after BCCI Secretary Jai Shah became ICC Chairman. Let us tell you that Jai Shah has also been the President of ACC before this. After he became the ICC chairman, his place in the ACC board was vacant, which has now been filled by Rajiv Shukla and Ashish Shelar.
