Mumbai: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has started the registration process for the 40th Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) for Assistant Professor. It is accepting online application forms from eligible candidates through the official website at setexam.unipune.ac.in.

Interested candidates who meet the prerequisites set by the SPPU can register for the MH SET 2025 till March 13. The last date to apply online with a late fee of Rs 500 is March 21, 2025. The University has also announced that the 40th MH SET 2025 exam will be held on June 15.

Step 1: Open the official website of MH SET at setexam.unipune.ac.in

Step 2:  Find the MH SET registration link flashing on the homepage

Step 3: Land on the respective page after following the link

Step 4: Fill in the MH SET application form with all details including academic and personal

Step 5: Pay the MH SET application fee

Step 6: Scan and upload all the mandatory documents along with photograph and signature

Step 7: Submit the Maharahstra MH SET registration form

Step 8: Download and keep the hard copy of application fee for future need

MH SET eligibility criteria

All interested candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject to register for the MH SET 2025 exam. Candidates who have qualified in the SET for a specific subject are not eligible to appear for the same subject again.

MH SET application fee

Candidates must pay the prescribed MH SET application fee to successfully complete the registration process. The application fee is Rs 800 for unreserved category candidates.
