Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is a state to take important steps in terms of development of wildlife tourism. Chambal region and nearby region of the state will create a new identity in the field of tourism. In this region, where the important work of rehabilitation of cheetahs has been done by implementing the first cheetah project of Asia and now the second generation of cheetahs has also been born. The region will become a center of more attraction for tourists due to the implementation of Gharial Project and now being notified as the 9th Tiger Reserve of Madhav National Park State.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave TV in Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center Complex. In the discussion with the channels representatives, the notification has been issued for the Madhav Tiger Reserve. With the declaration of Madhav National Park Tiger Reserve established in the year 1956, the 9th tiger reserve of the state will be, which will promote the wildlife tourism of the state. Two years ago, two female and a male tiger were released in Madhav National Park. The female tiger has given birth to two cubs, now 2 tigers will be released, which will cause 7 tigers here and natural breeding will increase the number of tigers. Being near Shivpuri city will be ideal with the convenience of tourists. Tourists will get an opportunity to see two big wildlife due to cheetah in Kuno National Park and tiger in Madhav National Park. Along with tiger, leopard, wolf, jackal, sahi, dragon, chinkara etc. are also found in Madhav National Park.
Second Tiger Reserve in three months
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the introduction of the second tiger reserve in the state in three months is important from the point of view of tourism. The Ratapani Sanctuary in the name of Dr. Vishnu Sridhar Wakankar was the 8th Tiger Reserve. From the beginning of the year 2025, wildlife is proving to be important and favorable in terms of tourism. A wonderful example of co-life of humans with wildlife is seen in the state. At present, all the tiger reserves, there are 100 percent booking of vehicles including hotels of the tourism department. Tourist numbers in the state will continue to increase continuously.
