Bollywood's “Mr. Perfectionist” Aamir Khan spoke openly in an interview with his first wife Reena Dutta and second wife Kiran Rao. He told that he and Reena ran away from home and married. Along with this, he praised both wives and said that despite being separated, their relationship is still honorable.

Reena Dutta ran away and married

In India Today Conclave 2025, Aamir Khan said-
“Reena and I were together for 16 years. We ran away from home and married. “

He further said that the most important relationship in his life has been with Reena and Kiran. Describing both of them as amazing women, they said that both of them have taught and given them a lot.

Even after separation, respect is maintained

Aamir also told that he is still very close to Reena and Kiran's family and there is love and respect between them. He said-
“Even though we are no longer in a relationship, we respect each other a lot.”

Aamir Khan's weddings and divorce

  • Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta married in 1986 and divorced in 2002 after living together for 16 years.
  • After this, Aamir married Kiran Rao in 2005, but he also divorced in 2021.
