Kavikrut has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Hub, the Telangana government’s city-based business incubator, with effect from March 10, 2025. With an emphasis on enhancing Hyderabad’s standing as a startup center, T-center seeks to expand the startup ecosystem under his direction by helping founders and their businesses develop, turn a profit, and have the greatest possible impact.
Speaking on his appointment, Kavikrut stated, “I am really inspired by Telangana’s dedication to entrepreneurs, and I am honored to have the chance to expand on the innovative work that T-Hub has been doing for the last ten years. As my hometown of Hyderabad continues to develop as a center for entrepreneurs creating Indian goods and services for the global market, I am thrilled about the city’s potential.
Kavikrut most recently served as Oyo’s Chief Growth Officer, where he was instrumental in growing the company’s presence in more than 100 Indian locations, starting new businesses, and overseeing and growing a variety of business operations. In 2018, he also led Oyo’s global expansion into Japan in collaboration with SoftBank Japan and Yahoo! Japan. According to an official announcement, his experience will be crucial in enhancing T-Hub’s position as a top facilitator of startup development and market expansion. “Kavikrut is the perfect leader for T-Hub because of his enthusiasm for startups, international experience, and practical operational skills,” said Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Information Technology, Government of Telangana.
