New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research will begin the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 registration process will start on March 10. The IISER IAT application form 2025 can be filled out through the official website at iiseradmission.in. The last date to fill out the form is April 15, 2025.
The documents and details that are necessary to add while filling out the application form are photograph, signature, Class 12th or equivalent mark sheet and certificate, category certificate (if any), valid photo identity proof and others as mentioned in the form.
The IISER IAT 2025 application form correction can be done between April 21 to April 22. Candidates can access and download their hall ticket on May 15. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2025.
IISER Aptitude Test 2025: Eligibility requirements
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from the science stream with at least 60 per cent marks. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PwD) categories, the minimum pass percentage required is 55 per cent.
- As per the age requirement, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000. For the SC, ST and PwD category applicants, there is an age relaxation of five years for those who must have been born on or after October 1, 1995.
- Indian citizens, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals are are also eligible to apply.
IISER IAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The IISER IAT will be held in a single shift as a computer based test for a duration of three hours. It will start at 9 AM and will conclude by 12 noon. There will be a total of 60 multiple-choice questions in the paper from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics sections. Each of the sections in the IAT exam will have 15 questions. The exam will be for 240 marks.
As per the IISER IAT marking scheme, for every correct answer candidates will be awarded four marks. For the incorrect response there will be a deduction of one mark.
