New Delhi : The world's largest engineering company Larsen & Tubr (L&T) has made a big announcement for its women employees. The company said that women employees will be given a day paid leave during periods. This move of the company will provide relief to about 5000 women employees. This announcement S. Chairman and Managing Director S.K. N. He said that this announcement will be applicable only to women employees of L&T.

Last year, the Supreme Court suggested the government to formulate a policy on the issue.
