Bengaluru, 8 March (IANS). Actress Sonali Bendre, who defeated cancer, has given a special message on International Women's Day. On Saturday, he advised half the population to take risks by crossing boundaries.

In an event organized by a private company on the occasion of International Women's Day 2025, Sonali Bendre said that this year is the theme of Women's Day 'Excellent Action'. It aims to strengthen women by guiding women in career growth.

The actress believes that life tells you that the more you take the risk, the more you will benefit.

The actress, who has won the battle with cancer, said that cancer has brought a lot of change in her life. It was because of cancer that she could love herself. He said, “Therapy taught me about self-love. As a woman we are accustomed to give priority to others instead of ourselves, but we can say that it should not be done. I look at my husband, son, father, their thinking is different about working. They do not need to worry about doing things.”

He said, “As a woman when you say that I need to do this, but… but the word 'but' becomes a big issue in life and has to work very hard to overcome it, it is with every woman. If you are thinking a lot about something, then you need to therapy, so you should ask for help. It is a part of life.”

Sonali said, “What are you giving to the world, what do you think? I have learned from my illness whether you listen or not, you always listen to yourself, the body is listening to you. In such a situation, what you say and think, it is very important.”

The actress told how her life suddenly changed. He said, “My life has changed since my son's birth, life has changed a lot after becoming a mother. When a woman is pregnant and gives birth to a child, it is going to change life. The way of thinking changes.”

Sonali also threw light on the journey of cancer. He said, “I did not want to talk about it openly. I was doing a reality show and I was seen on the screen every week. I didn't think much about it. I thought it was cancer, we will cure it and I will soon come back to the normal life. The scary was that I came to know that it was not the initial stage and I could not see the faces of you at that time. I am taking it for treatment, however, I did not want to go away, but for me, it was necessary for the family. “
