Two most important relationships with Reena and Kiran

During a recent conversation at an event, Aamir said, 'Reena and I were married and stayed together for 16 years and we ran away and my two most important relationships were with Reena and Kiran, both are very amazing people with whom I have spent my life and they have given me a lot in this life.'

I am very close to families

While interacting further, Aamir said, 'Divorce does not mean that we do not have respect and love for each other, maybe we may have moved forward in our relationship, but I have a lot of respect for Kiran and Reena and their families and in fact, I am very close to their families and we are always similar to each other.'

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao first met in 2001 on the set of the blockbuster film Lagaan, where Kiran was an assistant director, the closeness between the two increased and after dating for four years, married on 28 December 2005 and he has a son named Azad.

Earlier, Aamir married Reena Dutta in 1986, they have two children Ira Khan and Junaid Khan from this marriage. Aamir also shares good bonds with children including both his wives.
