On the occasion of Women’s Day , actor Arjun Bijlani opens up about the significance of this special day, the women who inspire him, and why empowering women is essential in today’s world. Known for his charm and versatility, Arjun shares heartfelt thoughts on the strength and resilience of women , especially those in his life.
For Arjun, Women’s Day is not just about one day of celebration but about acknowledging the invaluable contributions of women every single day. “Women’s Day is a beautiful reminder to appreciate the women who make our lives special. But honestly, their contributions should be celebrated daily. My mother and my wife have been my biggest pillars of strength. Women bring so much love, wisdom, and energy into our lives—it’s only fair we cherish them every day.”
When asked about the most inspiring women in his life, Arjun says, “I am blessed to have two incredible women who inspire me every day—my mother and my wife. My mom has been my guide, my teacher, and my biggest supporter. She taught me what it means to work hard and never give up. And my wife, Neha, is my rock. She holds our family together with so much love, patience, and strength. Her ability to handle everything—our home, our child, and still be my biggest cheerleader—amazes me. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.”
As an actor, Arjun has worked with many talented women in the industry, but what truly amazes him is the dedication of young mothers who balance personal and professional lives. “I have seen young mothers in the industry who manage time with their kids and balance work life as well. Hats off to their strength and power to do so many things. As a father, I know how much effort it takes to balance work and family, and seeing them do it all with a smile is truly inspiring.”
For Arjun, empowering women is a necessity. “Whether at home, in the workplace, or in society, women deserve to be heard, respected, and given equal opportunities. When women are empowered, families and communities thrive. As a father to a young son, I feel a responsibility to raise him to respect and uplift women. It’s on all of us to create a world where women feel safe, valued, and encouraged to follow their dreams.”
