Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden said, "Oh my god," as an act left her speechless on Saturday (March 8).
During tonight's episode, judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge KSI returned to the auditions hoping to find an act suitable for the Royal Variety Performance.
They were introduced to 11-year-old Oliver, who arrived at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool with his electric guitar. After learning from his grandad, he said he wanted to become "the best guitarist in the world."
Despite being "very nervous," Oliver wowed the audience with his impressive guitar-playing skills, performing unique covers of Van Halen's "Jump" and Queen's 1979 hit "Don't Stop Me Now."
The crowd went wild after the audition had ended, with an excitable Amanda saying: "Oh my god," and pressing the golden buzzer.
"I mean, literally a star is born, I have never ever seen anything like that in my life," Amanda said, as the golden confetti began raining down on stage.
"When you said you want to be the best guitar player in the world, I thought this young man is going to go far. Congratulations on a well-deserved golden buzzer," Alesha added.
A stunned KSI said: "Oliver, you're eleven and you're already a star. I loved it, it was crazy, you were like a completely different person, especially when you were right here and looking at our eyes and playing your heart out."
"You know what, you already have a very distinct sound which normally takes people decades, you're that good. I mean, seriously good! That was brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Good for you, go and celebrate," Simon concluded.
As Oliver left the stage and reached Ant and Dec, he admitted that he "didn't expect" to get a golden buzzer, before sharing a heartwarming hug with his proud grandad.
Following the exciting audition, BGT fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their excitement, with one writing: "Simply astonishing performance by an 11 yr old boy playing electric guitar on #BGT Golden button from Amanda Holden quite rightly."
"He deserved the golden buzzer and im so happy for him!!" another added, while a third said: "Very well deserved for the golden buzzer well done super star."
A fourth viewer echoed the sentiment: "Wow wow so proud of him he is absolutely a star in his young age wow so so happy."
