BBC fans tuned in to watch grill politicians on Sunday morning - but many made the same complaint as they picked up on a 'bad' habit of hers. Many claimed that she kept interrupting the show's guests, not allowing them to answer her questions properly.

As a result some threatened to turn the channel over, while others begged for fan-favourite journalist to present the programme instead. Today Laura was joined by Pat McFadden, chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Chris Philp, shadow home secretary and Espen Barth Eide, Norwegian foreign minister. Former Conservative politician also made an appearance on the BBC show.

But fans at home were less than impressed with them taking to social media to share their thoughts. Posting on X/Twitter, one wrote: "#BBCLauraK - Please get this programme off our screens and bring Andrew Marr back or Emily Maitlis!#SundayWothLauraKuenssberg #."

Another fumed: "Every Sunday morning I cross my fingers that Victoria Derbyshire might be presenting.Let down again. Laura is here. #bbclaurak." One more said: "The trouble with #bbclaurak is it's just boring, and interviews are predictable. It's off."

A fourth chimed in as they pointed out: "#BBCLauraK You've now got an awful habit of talking over your guests!! Let them answer your question. Or change the format, don't have guests and you just give your opinions, cause that's where it's heading! #backoffabit."

One more fan echoed: "NOTE to Producer #bbclaurak. Will you please instruct LK to cease & desist from interrupting

McFadden. We want - we need to hear what he's saying! Her attitude is appalling!"

However, others vouched for Laura as they agreed with her views. A fan wrote: "#BBCLauraK is right. Putin is relentless. Kier Starmer's stoic, measured approach has been exactly what's been needed when dealing with a toxic, unpredictable despot."

Laura was previously heavily criticised after she was forced to cancel an interview with former Prime Minister after she made an embarrassing mistake.

The former political editor revealed she inadvertently sent the former prime minister briefing notes meant for her own team ahead of the interview, leading to frustration and disappointment on her part.

At the time, she explained on Twitter: "While prepping to interview tomorrow, by mistake I sent our briefing notes to him in a message meant for my team. That obviously means it's not right for the interview to go ahead.

"It's very frustrating, and there's no point pretending it's anything other than embarrassing and disappointing, as there are plenty of important questions to be asked. But red faces aside, honesty is the best policy. See you on Sunday."
