Bhopal: The innovative efforts being made in the field of sports and youth welfare in Madhya Pradesh have brought the state to new heights. To increase the trend of youth towards sports and their overall development, the state government has launched important innovations like 'Fit India Club', 'Partha Yojana', 'Games Bado Abhiyan' and (MPVUP) 'Madhya Pradesh Yuva Motivational Campaign'. Through these schemes, sports grounds, players and sports activities of the state have got a new dimension.
Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang shared these views at the Khel Thinking Camp held in Hyderabad, Telangana. Giving information about the sports infrastructure available in Madhya Pradesh, Minister Shri Sarang said that 11 sports academies have been established for 18 sports in the state. The aim of the state government is to link the youth to sports and prepare them for competition at national and international level. For this, world -class high quality sports infrastructure has been prepared in Madhya Pradesh. In these 11 sports academies, training, state -of -the -art equipment and facilities are being provided as per international standards. He said that “We are constantly trying to develop Madhya Pradesh as a sports hub. Our resolve is that every youth gets an opportunity to fulfill their dreams in the field of sports and they can showcase their talent in the country and abroad. ”
Emphasis on further strengthening sports recruitment policy
Minister Shri Sarang participated in the third session of the second day of the 'Khel Chintan Camp', the Welfare of Sports Persons and Cuc ups and Sports Recruitment Policy with Union Minister Dr. Mandavia. In this session, significant discussions were made to further strengthen the welfare and sports recruitment policy of players and trainers. Union Minister of State for Youth Program and Sports, Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Mizoram Mr. Pu Lalanghinglova Hamar were also present on the occasion.
