If your ticket is confirmed and you are canceling it, then the charge will deduct this way:
On canceling 48 hours before the train leaves
Cut per passenger:
On cancellation of 48 hours 12 hours ago
On canceling 12 hours before 12 hours
No refund will be available if you save less than 4 hours.
(If you TDR not filedIf there will be no refund)
If your ticket was in the waiting list, then you will get a refund on cancellation:
On canceling 4 hours before the train leaves
If waiting ticket was not confirmed and chart was made
There will be no refund on canceling the confirmed Tatkal ticket.
If the Tatkal ticket is in the waiting list and want to cancel, the normal waiting ticket refund rules will be applicable.
If the train is late for more than 3 hours and you do not want to travel, then the method of refund will be different.
