The Bar Council of India (BCI) is expected to release the results for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 in March 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their results on the official website, allindiabarexamination.com, by entering their roll number and password.

The AIBE 19 exam was conducted on December 22, 2024, as a qualifying test for law graduates seeking to practice in India. As per previous trends, the results are generally announced within two to three months of the examination. The final answer key for AIBE 19 was released on March 6, 2025, after the BCI reviewed and dropped 28 questions from the provisional key. The provisional answer key was initially released on December 29, 2024, with candidates given until January 10, 2025, to raise objections.

Candidates can follow these steps to check their AIBE 19 results once they are announced:

  • Enter your login credentials (roll number and password).
  • View your result on the screen.
  • Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

To qualify in the AIBE 19 exam, candidates need to secure a minimum passing percentage. General and OBC category candidates must score at least 45%, while candidates belonging to the SC/ST and disabled categories require a minimum of 40%.

The AIBE 19 exam consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions covering 19 different legal subjects. These included Constitutional Law, the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Family Law, and Intellectual Property Laws, among others. The examination serves as a mandatory certification for law graduates from the academic year 2009-2010 onwards, ensuring they meet the required professional competency standards before practicing law in India. Candidates are eligible to appear for the AIBE only after enrolling as advocates under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961.

With the result announcement expected soon, candidates are advised to keep their login details ready and regularly check the official website for updates. The AIBE certification is crucial for law graduates, as passing the exam grants them the Certificate of Practice, allowing them to officially practice as advocates in India.
