A study conducted in Warsaw, Poland found that the risk of obesity in married men is 62 percent higher than unmarried men. At the same time, medical experts say that this increase in women was seen 39 percent.
Study done on more than two thousand people
Researchers at the National Institute of Cardiology in Poland analyzed data of 2,405 people, most of whom were over 50 years of age. Of these, 35.3 percent were of normal weight, 38.3 percent were overweight and 26.4 percent were thick. Research has shown that the risk of obesity in men has increased three times since marriage. However, this effect was less seen in women.

The study has also shown that the chances of weight gain also increase with aging. With increasing age, the chances of gaining weight in men every year increase 3 percent and women 4 percent. At the same time, the risk of obesity increases by 4 percent in men and 6 percent in women.
