After the arrest of South Indian actress Ranya Rao in gold smuggling, new revelations are happening every day. Now the name of another actor has surfaced in this case. Ranya Rao's friend and artist Tarun Raj alias Virat Konduru Raj is now on the police radar. Tarun Raj is now being questioned by the DRI team. Tarun Raj has made his career as the lead actor in Telugu films. Tarun's name has come up in the gold smuggling case and the allegations against him have been tightened.

 

New twist in gold smuggling

A large network has been exposed in the gold smuggling case. DRI arrested Ranya Rao from Bangalore Airport a few days ago. And he was sent to judicial custody. During interrogation of Ranya, the name of her friend and Telugu actor Tarun Raj has surfaced. The DRI team is now interrogating Tarun Raj. Ranya Rao is an actress in the Telugu film industry. And she joined the International Gold Promotion Network. He has been smuggling gold during his frequent visits to Dubai. Crores of cash were received from Ranya's flat. It was discovered that her husband and brother were also involved in these crimes. The CBI has strongly investigated the case.

Telugu actor Tarun Raj's involvement

Actor Tarun Raj started his career with the 2018 Telugu film Introduction. In which he appeared in the lead role. Before entering the film industry, he changed his name to Virat Konduru Raj. It is said that he was very close to Ranya Rao. And there was a long friendship between the two. Tarun and Ranya became friends during their film career. DRI officials believe that Tarun may also be an important part of this smuggling racket. Therefore, he is being interrogated intense.

DRI suspects that Tarun Raj may be a part of actress Ranya Rao's gold smuggling network. Officials believe that more people associated with the film industry may be involved in this racket. For this reason, the DRI team is intensively interrogating Tarun to reach the bottom of the case.

Actor Tarun Raj is currently in DRI custody and today his bail petition will be produced in the lower court. During this hearing, it will be decided whether they will be released or further custody for questioning. The DRI investigation team is investigating potential relations with other film personalities throughout the case. There may be more big revelations in this high-profile case in the coming days.
