Hasthras (Uttar Pradesh), March 16: A shocking case has emerged from P.C. Bagla Degree College in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Proctor Rajneesh Kumar (54) has been accused of sexually exploiting female students for the past 20 years. The allegations include rape, making obscene videos and blackmailing students by threatening to leak their intimate photos and videos.
How the Scandal Came to Light
The professor’s dark secret was exposed when some of his videos went viral on social media, causing outrage in the city. As soon as the videos surfaced, the Hathras police registered an FIR against him under rape and other serious charges.
According to reports, Professor Rajneesh targeted female students by promising them good grades in exams and government jobs. He then sexually assaulted them, recorded videos and blackmailed them to keep them silent. The scandal has shaken the education system, as it took years for the truth to come out.

Complaint and Evidence Against the Professor
The case became more serious when a complaint was filed against Rajneesh with the National Commission for Women (NCW) and senior police officials in Uttar Pradesh. The complaint included 12 photographs showing the professor engaging in inappropriate acts with students. Some of these photos were reportedly taken inside the college office itself. There are also reports that around 59 videos of the accused with female students have surfaced on social media after the FIR has been filed against him.
Police Investigation and College’s Lack of Cooperation
When the case was assigned to CO City for investigation, the college administration refused to cooperate. However, after further inquiry, SP Hathras directed Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ashok Kumar Singh to take charge of the investigation. The inquiry confirmed several allegations, leading to a formal case being registered against the professor.
Despite the police’s efforts, Rajneesh is currently on the run and authorities are actively searching for him. Hathras SP Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha has assured that the professor will be arrested soon.
