New Delhi: Shark Tank India is a reality show that is liked by audiences of diverse age groups. In this much-talked-about series, entrepreneurs participate and present their pitches to a panel of venture capitalists. If their business manages to win the hearts of the judges, they receive funding in exchange for equity in their companies. Apparently, this concept has been receiving immense love from viewers, which has led the show to its fourth season.
In the latest installment of the hit franchise, a new celebrity has joined the panel of judges. No prizes for guessing! He is none other than Srikanth Bolla.
According to a TV9Hindi report, Srikanth is the CEO, co-founder, and chairman of Bollant Industries Private Limited. You will be amazed to know that a film has even been made about his inspirational life.
A few days ago, Srikanth shared pictures with all the sharks on his official social media account. He captioned the image, saying that one needs to become a shark themselves to survive in a pool of sharks.
It is to be noted that Srikanth was named by Forbes magazine in 2017 in its 30 Under 30 list across all of Asia. And that’s not all! He was also the first international visually impaired student to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.
Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao played the lead role in the biographical movie titled Srikanth in 2024. The film brought to the silver screen the motivational tale of the visually impaired industrialist.
The Tushar Hiranandani directorial also starred Jyothika, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, Jameel Khan and Bharat Jadhav in pivotal roles. It opened to positive reviews on May 10, 2024.
As per Sacnilk, Srikanth raked in Rs 56.95 crore at the Indian Box Office during its theatrical run. The industry tracker further states that the film minted Rs 3.5 crore overseas, taking its worldwide collection to Rs 60.45 crore.
