Battle of Badr 2025: The first war of Islam was fought in the month of Ramadan. Prophet Muhammad fought this war with 313 people on the 17th of Ramadan. This war is called Jang-e-Badr.

Battle of badr 2025: Ramadan is the holy month of Islam. Fasting is made compulsory for all Muslims this month. But this is the same month when the first battle of Islam was also fought. The first battle of Islam was fought on the 17th of Ramadan, which is known as Jung-e-Badr.

On 13 March 624, Prophet Muhammad fought the first war in the name of Islam. Eid was celebrated after the war was over. This was the time when Prophet Muhammad, who was called the messenger of Allah, used to tell people about Islam and asked them to worship Allah. Just because of this, the people of Mecca became enemies of the Prophet.

The first war of Islam took place on this day

According to the date, the battle of Badr took place on 13 March 624. But the day this battle was fought was also the 17th day of Ramzan. Today, 18 March 2025 is also the 17th day of Ramzan and the people fasting have kept the 17th day of Ramzan. On the day of the battle, Prophet Sahib and his 313 followers kept fast and fought the battle. 

313 Vs one thousand

Abu Jahal wanted to destroy Islam. He left Mecca for the war. His army consisted of more than 1000 people, who were armed and also had 700 camels and 100 horses. Whereas Prophet Muhammad had 313 followers with him, most of whom did not know how to use weapons and some had never fought a war. Prophet himself did not want to fight this war, but when the infidel Nabi-e-Karim tried to harm Islam out of enmity, Allah ordered his beloved Prophet (Pagan) to fight against the one who harms you and in this way the first battle was fought in the history of Islam in the battle of Badr.

There is a place called Badr, about 80 miles from Medina, where this battle was fought. That is why it is called Jang-e-Badr. After winning the battle, the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in joy. This is the reason why Eid is celebrated every year after Ramzan. However, even after this, Prophet Muhammad fought many wars to protect Islam and won.
