Actress Pavitra Punia has been a prominent name in the television industry , known for her strong and impactful roles. While she has received multiple offers for web series, she has had to turn them down due to their intimate scenes—something she has always been firm about.
In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Pavitra shared her disappointment about constantly being offered roles with intimate scenes , despite making her stance clear.
"I was in talks for a few web shows , but they included intimate scenes. I have always said that I am not up for that. Yet, I still get such roles. It’s really heartbreaking. Why is it so difficult to understand that I am not going to do such scenes on screen?" she expressed.


While she regrets losing out on web series due to this, she remains positive about her television career, revealing that she has a few upcoming projects in the pipeline. For now, her focus is solely on Tenali Rama .
Currently, Pavitra is making waves as Vishkanya Laila in Tenali Rama. Her character enters Vijayanagar disguised as a graceful dancer but harbors a sinister agenda—revenge. With King Krishnadevaraya as her ultimate target, her plans take a twist when Timmarasu uncovers her truth, leading to high-stakes drama and thrilling confrontations.


Reflecting on her journey in the entertainment industry, Pavitra shared, "I have never struggled for work. Opportunities have come to me naturally. Television and reality shows are my true calling, and I will never part from them. These genres define me."
With her dedication and firm principles, Pavitra continues to leave a mark in the television world while staying true to her values.
