New Delhi. Bihari students studying at Guru Kashi University in Punjab have been attacked. Many students have been injured in this attack, some of which got their heads and many of their hands and feet were broken. Guru Kashi University is located in Bathinda. The injured students have accused Punjabi students and local people of attack. At the same time, he also said that no concrete action was taken by the Punjab Police in this regard. Students of Bihar have now pleaded for help from their state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The students alleged that the university's security guards were also involved in the attack with local students. He accused of attacking with a sword. It also said that Bathinda police have detained the injured students instead of taking action against the accused. However, the university administration has something else to say in this matter. According to Dr. SK Bawa, Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University, this quarrel did not happen between Punjabi and Bihari students. Rather, two groups of students of Bihar clashed.

According to the VC, a group of Bihari students called some of their local colleagues and attacked another faction. However, he said that now the atmosphere in the university is completely quiet. Police has been given a complaint in this regard. All the students who were involved in the attack have been identified, soon action will be taken against the culprits. Some photos and videos of the attack on students are also going viral on social media. On the other hand, the people of Bihari students are also concerned about the safety of their children and they have also requested the Bihar government to intervene in the matter so that the safety of Bihari students can be ensured.
