Popular anthology series Lust Stories will be returning for its third season on Netflix.

The upcoming season will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies and Ashi Dua via Flying Unicorn Entertainment.

While the directors have not been confirmed yet, PeepingMoon reports that acclaimed filmmakers Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, and Shakun Batra are in advanced negotiations to helm the project.

Though the casting is yet to be finalized, Lust Stories 3 is expected to boast a stellar ensemble cast.

The anthology will continue its tradition of four different stories exploring themes of love, lust, power, and societal status.

The new season promises to push creative boundaries while continuing to offer authentic portrayals of women who accept their desires unapologetically while balancing the chaos of their lives.

The first season, which premiered in 2018, was helmed by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee. It starred an ensemble cast, including Vicky Kaushal, Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, Manisha Koirala, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sanjay Kapoor.

The second season (2023) starred Kajol, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Tillotama Shome, Neena Gupta, and Amruta Subhash.

For the sophomore season, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh were roped in to direct.
