More than 400 km of road construction work has been completed under the Indo-Nepal Border Road Project in Bihar. About 2 thousand 486 crore rupees have been spent on this project so far. According to the information received, construction of about 154 km of the remaining parts of this road is likely to be completed by the middle this year.

Social and economic development will gain momentum in these border areas neglected over years. There will be a significant improvement in traffic facilities and road connectivity between Indo-Nepal will be stronger. The vigil on the border will increase and the soldiers of SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) will help in patrolling. There will be a lot of success in tightening smuggling.
