IIT Roorkee (ranking 6) offers admission based on a CGPA of 8.0+ with work experience or an interview. IIT Indore (ranking 16) also requires a CPI of 8.0 or above. Similarly, IIT Mandi (Ranking 31) gives preference to those with a CGPA of 8.0 or above. IIT Bhilai (Ranking 73) also gives admission based on graduation and experience from IIT.

Some IITs may also conduct interviews or written tests, in which your technical knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving ability will be assessed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally, the fees can range from ₹50,000 to ₹2,00,000 per semester. If you are sponsored by a company, then your fees can be paid by the company. Some institutes also provide financial assistance to financially weak students. Apart from this, options like Research Assistantships and Teaching Assistantships are also available, through which students can get stipends and scholarship.
