Ajay Devgan is once again ready to explode on the big screen as his iconic character 'Ameya Patnaik'. The much awaited trailer of the film Raid 2 has now been released and is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The trailer is full of action, suspense and drama, but what is the most shocking is Ritesh Deshmukh's negative avatar.
RAID, who came in 2018, won the hearts of the audience and now RAID 2 is seen going one step ahead of it. This time Ajay Devgan is competing with corrupt leader 'Dada Manohar Bhai', who is playing Ritesh Deshmukh. In the film, Vani Kapoor is in the role of Ajay's wife, who has replaced Ileana D'Cruz.
The trailer begins with a tremendous red scene, where Amay Patnaik i.e. Ajay Devgan raits Ritesh Deshmukh's house. Ritesh Deshmukh is this time in the role of a powerful and corrupt politician named 'Dada Manohar Bhai', whose character is looking more dangerous than 'Rameshwar Singh' (Saurabh Shukla) of the first part. In the trailer, the confrontation between the two is shown in a very intensity manner.
Although it is difficult to forget Saurabh Shukla's iconic villain character, Ritesh Deshmukh's screen presence and dialogue delivery are shocked to the audience. His strong acting in the trailer proves that he is standing firmly in front of an experienced artist like Ajay Devgan.
The most interesting thing of the film is that Ajay Devgan is going on 75th Red. That is, this biggest action of the most honest officer of the country is going to be happening. Director Raj Kumar Gupta has tried to make the film even more gripping and realistic.
The film Raid 2 is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film will be released in theaters on May 1. The film will feature stars like Ajay Devgan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Vani Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial and Rajat Kapoor.
The 2018 raid was well liked by the audience and the film also earned a great amount at the box office. Now it will be interesting to see whether RAID 2 will prove to be a big hit or will not meet the expectations of the audience.
