The vehicles, all in black and designated for escort/pilot duties, were officially handed over during a formal inauguration ceremony held today at the District Collector's Office in Raigad, Alibag. The ceremony was presided over by District Collector Kishan Jawale (IAS), who inaugurated the new fleet.

Also present at the event were Sandesh Shirke, Resident Deputy Collector; Somnath Gharge, Superintendent of Police, Raigad-Alibag; and Abhijit Shivthare, Additional Superintendent of Police, Raigad-Alibag.

“The initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and response capabilities of the district police, especially in high-security movements and VIP convoys,” said Gharge. Officials expressed confidence that the upgraded fleet would contribute significantly to public safety and streamlined law enforcement operations across the region.
