Four wheel non AC trains priced less than 10 lakhs were yet to be taxed at 7 percent. Now it will take 8 percent. Similarly, the AC car priced less than 10 lakh will now be increased from 8 percent to 9 percent tax. At the same time, trains worth more than 10 lakh will now be taxed at 11 percent instead of 10.
At the same time, this tax on two wheelers priced less than 40 thousand rupees will be 7 percent as before. But vehicles worth more than 40 thousand rupees will now be taxed at 9 percent instead of 8 percent. The government was losing up to Rs 1000 crore due to giving several concessions on the electric vehicle. Increasing tax will earn an income of Rs 412 crore. At the same time, transport tax has been reduced on taxi (four wheelers) vehicles.
The Yogi government has approved a total of 13 proposals on Tuesday. In this, the daily duty allowance of the Provincial Guard Party (PRD) personnel has been increased by about 26 percent, after which it increased from Rs 395 to Rs 500. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 35 thousand PRD volunteers of the state will get the benefit of this growth.
Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that the allowance of PRD jawans has been increased from Rs 395 to Rs 500. At present, more than 34 thousand PRD jawans are deployed in the state and all these soldiers will be able to get the benefit of this increased amount. Khanna said that due to this increase, an additional expenditure of 75 crore 87 lakh 50 thousand rupees will be spent on the state government.
