Mirza Abbas Ali, once a big name in the South Film industry, is now in the headlines once again, although this time the reason is his struggle. The life of this actor, who once worked with stars like Aishwarya Rai, Tabu and Shah Rukh Khan, took such a turn that they have to do various things to work at a petrol pump and fill their stomachs.

Popular hero of 90s

Abbas was counted among the most handsome and popular stars of South in the late 90s and early 2000. He made his debut in the 1996 superhit film 'Kadhal Desam', with him with famous faces like Tabu and Vineet. The success of this film made Abbas a superstar overnight. In Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, he consecutively hits a hit and won the hearts of the audience with his acting.

Films started flopping continuously

However, time is not always the same. After 2006, Abbas's films began to flop and the filmmakers stopped working. Meanwhile, he tried to try his hand in business and invested in property in Dubai. But this decision proved to be very expensive for him. Investment failed, money drowned and debt burden.

To pay the money, he borrowed from producers and started doing small roles in films for free. There came a time when he had to sell all his flats and land. He shifted to New Zealand to overcome this economic crisis.

Taxi driver also had to work

In Auckland, he worked ranging from taxi driver to mechanic, petrol pump attendant. In an interview with 'The Federal', he revealed that it was not easy to do all this in the beginning but to handle the family and start a new life, he did everything with full self -respect. He did a job from doing insulation work in homes to quality analyst in call center.

This transformation of Abbas is as shocking, as much as inspirational. When the star of a time fought hard to give up instead of giving up the situation, it proved that the real hero is the one who falls and stands again.

Bigg Boss came to see Tamil 7

Recently he was seen in 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7', which indicates that he wants to return to acting once again. Although he does not have a new project at the moment, fans are hoping that this second innings of Abbas would be as luxurious as his first innings.
