Navi Mumbai: Due to urgent repair and maintenance work, the water supply would not be available in the villages along the Hetawne water supply line, as well as in the regions of Dronagiri, JNPT, Ulwe, Kharghar, and Taloja. The pipeline will be maintained and repaired by CIDCO.

The closure is scheduled to start on April 9 at 6:00 AM and end on April 10 at 6:00 AM. After then, the water supply will start up again, but it will be at low pressure for the next 24 hours.

Emergency repair at the Hetawne Water Treatment Plant and the related water supply line is the cause of the interruption.

All inhabitants in the impacted regions have been asked by CIDCO to prepare ahead of time and use water sparingly during the interruption.
