In a fun, candid chat, Himanshi Khurana laughingly picked her competitor in Bigg Boss 13 competitor, Shehnaaz Gill, while choosing between her and ex-boyfriend Asim Riaz.

Himanshi Khurana, known for her stint in Punjabi films and popular music videos, rose to fame with her appearance in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 13. Besides her strong gameplay, the actress also grabbed much attention with her mushy romance with co-contestant Asim Riaz. After coming out from the show, the two stars even dated for quite some time, only to announce their breakup in 2023. Now, in a candid conversation, when Himanshi was asked to choose between Asim Riaz and Shehnaaz Gill, the former gave a hilarious reply.
In a video on Instagram featuring a moment from Himashi Khurana’s chat show with Zee Punjabi’s Spotlight With Mandy, the actress indulged in a fun rapid-fire round. The video begins with the interviewer asking her to name one of her favourites between the two. In the quick questioning session, she picked ace singer, Diljit Dosanjh over comedian Kapil Sharma, chose Deepika Padukone amongst her and Sania Mirza, opted for Virat Kohli amongst him and Salman Khan and Instagram above Snapchat. Finally, while choosing between Shehnaaz Gill and Asim Riaz, she says, “Obviously, Shehnaaz,” leaving the host in splits. Meanwhile, Himashi also joined in the reels of laughter.
For the unversed, Himanshi and Shehnaaz’s rivalry inside the Bigg Boss 13 house was a major highlight of the season. Right from when the Punjabi singer entered as a wildcard contestant, she was indulging in several dramatic scenes alongside Shehnaaz. However, now, it seems that both the stars have moved on in their lives, keeping their feud aside.
Aside from her rivalry with Shehnaaz, Himanshi had also grabbed attention in Bigg Boss 13 with her close bond with Asim, despite being engaged to her boyfriend, Chow, then. Himanshi and Asim fell in love with one another while their stay inside the show. After their eviction, they stayed together for a couple of years. In 2023, Himanshi and Asim announced their breakup due to ‘different religious beliefs’ coming between them. In a post on X, Himanshi talked about the same.
“YES, We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great, but our togetherness comes to an end now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives,” she wrote, adding, “With due respect to our respective religions we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy. Himanshi.”
