Now in a few days, the people of Kanpur will complete the journey from IIT to Kanpur Central Railway Station in just 28 minutes. For this, they will not have to loose their pockets either. For this journey of 16 kilometers, only 40 rupees will have to be spent. This is going to be possible with the journey of Metro. If all goes well, the second face of Kanpur Metro will start from 24th.

Security NOC has been found for operations at five metro stations for the second face of the metro. Now the way of operating the metro on this route has been cleared. In the first face of the metro, the operation of the metro from IIT to Motijheel was started three years ago. There were places like IIT, Medical College, Cardiology, Motijheel on this route. Despite this, the number of passengers was not full. That is why there was a lot of enthusiasm in the metro corporation regarding its second face.

5 stations ready in second face

The biggest reason for this is that five new stations have been added to the second face, including Chuniganj, Naveen Market, Bada Square, Nayaganj and Kanpur Central. This route is considered to be from the busy route of Kanpur. In this, Naveen Market is the main market of the city, then Nayaganj is the biggest wholesale mandi. The biggest thing is that it also includes Kanpur Central Railway Station. Due to which the passengers catching the train will be very easy.

Metro operations will be done in total 13 kilometers

A few days ago, the CMRS Metro Rail Safety Commissioner had investigated this route thoroughly and since then NOC was being requied. Its NOC was found on Thursday. So far, the distance of the metro running from IIT to Motijheel is about 9 kilometers. After the second face starts, the operation will start from Motijheel to 7 kilometers of Kanpur Central Railway Station. In this way, the metro will start at a total of 16 kilometers. Whose journey will take only 28 minutes to complete.

Maximum fare will be 40 rupees

To complete this distance, you will not have to loose pockets either. According to the rate list of the metro, 10 rupees of travel to 1 station, 15 rupees up to two stations, 20 rupees from three to six stations, 30 rupees from 7 to 9 stations and 40 rupees from 10 to 13 stations. In this way, it will cost only 40 rupees to go from IIT to Kanpur Central. According to metro sources, the second face will be inaugurated on 24th and PM Modi can inaugurate it.

What will be the stations?

With the first and second face, there will now be a total of 13 stations, which will be as follows. IIT, Kalyanpur, SPM Hospital, Kanpur University, Gurudev, Geeta Nagar, Rawatpur, LLR Hospital, Moti Lake, Chuniganj, Naveen Market, Bada Square, Nayaganj and Kanpur Central.
