A one -day workshop cum meeting for Anganwadi servants in Mirjawa Panchayat under Nutrition Pakhwara was held on Friday at Mirjwa in the block area.
The program was inaugurated by Pandav Paswan, the head of the panchayat, by lighting the lamp. In this workshop, women supervisors beauty Singh and Arpita Devnath and Sandhya Kumari of Jeelagrit Social Welfare Foundation informed the servants about various important topics to nutrition, including dietary diversity, including first thousand days of life.
During this period, activities under the nutrition campaign were also demonstrated. On the spot, the process of identifying the malnourished children in their field and sending them to Nutrition Rehabilitation Center was explained. It was also reported in the workshop that the main objective of nutrition fortnight is to improve the nutritional level in pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, adolescent girls and children below six years of age.
The servants were also informed about the daily activities to enter the mass movement dashboard, as well as detailed information about all the modules of the Nutrition Tracker app by Mahila Supervisory Beauty Singh.
At the end of the workshop, the servants were also motivated to organize programs like rally and publicity to spread awareness in the community. Panchayat Samiti members and all the concerned servants were present in the meeting.
